HELP! (I'm a 27 yr. charter member but new to the forum).
When importing a file from a previous version of Finale, the abbreviated staff font is defaulted to Petrucci. Obviously, this does not work, but I CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME ACCESS THE PLACE TO CHANGE THIS!!!
I have searched extensively through all support files, help files, online posts and documents and have taken several hours and at my wits end. NOTHING suggested works. I see something about the text menu and I've tried that but I find THERE IS NO DROP DOWN OPTION FOR CHANGING INSTRUMENT NAME OR ABBREVIATED INSTRUMENT NAME FONT.
Even when I option-click each staff, I can type in what should be an abbreviated name but all I ever get is gobbletygook in the Petrucci font and cannot access a "normal" text font!
