I guess I'm not positive, but I think the Off Topic posts were moved to General? - And it's possible that we don't really need an Off Topic category, since that's quite a mixture of everything in General.--

Hey all-

Randy- you are correct sir-
We moved everything that was in "Off Topic" to "General" to kick things off.
The intention is that General stay music related and we keep "Off Topic" as another outlet that might be useful to the community.
If we find that "Off Topic" is not used, or that it is used by spammers to post home appliance sales, we'll remove it down the line.

Cheers!

Good morning, Fred - Good to see you, as always!

Thanks for confirming that no posts were lost, which Derrek was concerned about. All the Misc. posts were moved to "General."

I pulled that quote out from you above because right now, with all the misc. posts moved to "General," there are a number of posts that aren't music related, and are actually "Off Topic" - It doesn't matter a great deal, but still wanted to suggest that to set the tone you want, with "General" being music related, maybe the tone for "Off Topic" could be set also with some threads moved again. Here are some examples of actual "Off Topic" posts:

"New Forum - Yah!"
"Richard John S is Here!"
"Happy New Year!"

In any case, the Forum looks much more organized now. It's a big improvement, thanks.
