Is it possible to get a brass drop off in JABB?

Have you looked at the Jazz articulations? Some are set up to affect the sound via Human Playback.

Yes, I did look at jazz articulations and don't know how to use them. It talks about using CC#15 for brass fall offs. Have no idea what they are and the manual assumes you know what and how to use them.
What do you mean by sound via Human Playback?

Finale's Human Playback settings activate the Jazz expressions (how well, I am not willing to say). If you are using the sounds outside of Finale, I guess you have to create the effects yourself.
