Now that IS curious - that you get the same response at both sites. It almost appears that there is an error in the settings. I've never seen that particular notice before. Have you tried opening a new account at the original site?

Hello Tom : I did open a new account, and it seems to be working well for a week now. The old account would tell me I had no privileges, and virtually everything was listed as private once logged in, it would let me send private messages though.
