Organ stops

Postby Wagner Tenor » Fri Dec 06, 2013 10:58 am

Sorry, this post will probably irritate you. I am a professional musician, so my knowledge of midi is limited. All I want to do is be able to add and subtract organ stops via Logic Pro X. For example. During preparing a recording for my choir, I want to add a stop to my right hand organ part, I don't want to physically un-mute the stop in aria player, rather send a command from logic to do this automatically. In know how to use the events list in logic. Any ideas.

Thanks

Hi, Wagner - Glad you got things working the way you wanted. Now it would be great if you could post what your solution was, for the sake of other Logic users. I imagine it would be about the same as we would do it in any other DAW software, but I don't use Logic, so can't be sure.

It's always good to conclude a thread with the solution, for the sake of future readers.

It is his subsequent post and lack of sharing that is irritating.

I wrote to Wagner again, this time sending a Private Message. I encouraged him to return and wrap up his thread, giving at least a short explanation of what the solution to his problem was. I pointed out that the kind of thing he was wanting to do with controlling the organ stops is a common topic - other people could benefit from what he discovered.

Hopefully we'll see him again!
