create seagull and whale sounds

Has anyone been able to create a good whale sound or seagull sound with garritan inside finale and notate it correctly I did a glissando on the cello for whales and flutes for seagulls but a was told the seagull sound was timid . What did you try and what worked?

I also wanted to "create" a reference to seagulls

I obtained a mp3 of seagulls and used Audacity to analyse small segements. This showed peaks at
F7 , C8 & F8 . I then used piccolo and piccolo trumpet (from GPO4) in a two note phrase. ( Round here I always consider that the seagulls are calling "sieg heil".) The results still need a bit more courseness.

Seagulls are fine, but remember that Whales are a transposing instrument.
