How to get all sounds in an ensemble

Postby Todd » Thu Feb 04, 2016 2:07 pm

Hi,

I am new to GPO3 and even newer to this forum. I pulled up Woodwind Quintet but the only sound is the first instrument in the ensemble (flute). How do I get the other instruments in the quintet to play?

Sorry if this question is a bit simple. I'm really new to using soft synths, virtual instruments, etc. I am composing some pieces for film and have been amazed at what I can create with instruments like GPO, GIO, JABB and other soft synths.

I'm playing it through Sonar. I know it has something to do with midi channels but I just can't figure it out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Mr. Mook,

I don't have a problem getting GPO to open and play in Sonar. I'm just trying to figure out how to hear all of the sounds in patches like Woodwind Quintet, instead of just the first sound (Solo Flute). I've got an email in to tech support.

Appreciate the help,
Todd

Thanks, Derek,

I figured it probably had something to do with that. Just wasn't sure how to do it. Your picture helps a lot. I'll do more experimenting.

Thanks Again,
Todd
