Pipe organ - excess note delay

Hi - I am new to all this (about three days!) and the first day the reverb/delay was OK but next day the delay/reverb was so excessive that it was no possible to play a fast tune because of the delay - sometimes notes sounded after hands were removed from keyboard.
Advice gratefully received - or can I uninstall and then reinstall programme?

I am not a Garritan Organ specialist, but much depends on how you are using it. If you are using the package in a DAW, you should probably turn off the Aria reverb and apply it only in the DAW.

If you are using the package in Finale, you will want to make sure you are only applying one form of reverb/ambiance at one point in the sound chain.

Thank you, Derek. I have an Alesis Q49 and installed the Ableton Live 9 Lite software before purchasing the Garritan.

The Modulator control of the Garritan/ ARIA Player Mixer is at its minimum setting - is that the reverb control you were suggesting, please? I also turned the Send knob to its highest setting

I have the free Grandorgue programme which works perfectly well, but as the Garritan was quite expensive, I am keen to get it working!

If the Garritan organ was recorded with reverb, you are out of luck. But the Aria player has several pages (Mixer, Effects, Settings, etc.) and I would check the Effects page to see if either Ambiance or Convolution are turned on. Play with the settings to see how that affects your sounds.

What you're describing is called latency, where a note sounds well after you have played the key.
You need to check the latency settings for your sound card.
