Where are the previous Christmas Music compilations? They used to be pretty easy to locate.

They were taken down awhile back, but last word I heard on it, the plan was to have them back up on a newly designed page. It would be great if that could happen in time for Christmas, since those Garritan Christmas Albums are such good publicity.

Hopefully the new collection will be coming out earlier than last year - In 2012 we didn't have time to make hard copies and send them to friends and relatives.

Fingers crossed on both counts.

Hello Lyriel,

Yes, as Randy mentioned, the albums were taken down. The Garritan 'Spotlight' Christmas page does have an announcement that the previous 9 volumes will be back soon as shown in the following link.

http://www.garritan.com/spotlight/garritan-community-christmas

I think this will happen when our new 10th Anniversary Christmas CD album for this year is published. Those of us who have contributed songs are awaiting final arrangements and hope that these will be finalised pretty soon. :)

I've seen several posts from MM saying how "excited" they are about the 10th anniversary Garritan Christmas Album. - I'd like to see less "excitement" and more Action. It's already two weeks over-due. Paper work of danged release forms hasn't even been started yet - We'll be lucky to see the collection before a few days prior to Christmas, which is the same thing that happened last year. We were given promises of this being a "high priority" in 2013 - that they'd be sure to reserve plenty of man-power to get the job done right --- drumming fingers. Lots a talk - no action.

It's very disheartening, and frankly, a slap in the face to the volunteers who have put in months of work on creating the recordings for the album, as they have for the last 10 years.

I was working on something, but I seem to be going through one of those unfortunate bouts of music burnout! It happens. I have just not been inspired to finish what I started:( Can't wait to hear what everyone has done this year!

Hello Robert,

It's great to see you here. Hope you'll post often. :D

I'm looking forward to hearing the new album as well. The news is good at the moment and things are now moving (at last). Shouldn't be too long .. I hope. ;)

This question's already been answered, but now with Christmas quickly approaching, I just want to express how Great it would be for not only this year's Garritan Christmas Album to be released, but if the whole 10 year collection could be made available again, the way it was on Gary's previous site. - That's my holiday wish!

That's mine too. It was so nice to be able to listen to many different carols and also different arrangements of the same carol. Very creative entries by a community of gifted, sampled music library musicians.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at that--omg, a sight for sore eyes. An archived version of the beautiful old Garritan site. This is supreme, "GuyWithDogs"-- That's all of them except 2011 and 2012--Excellent! Thank you so much.
