We have installed Garritan Personal Orchestra 4 (GPO 4) on an Apple iMac that was bought in 2015. I've read the manual, and I can't figure out how to write music on it. Can anyone give me a simple and short explanation of how to do it? I know this sounds elementary to most of y'all.
Other than loading a pre-existing MIDI file (created elsewhere) into the Aria Player set up with the corresponding channels assigned to the desired instrument sounds, one does not actually "write" music in Aria. Most people who use Aria to create music use it as a plug-in in a DAW such as Sonar, Cubase, Logic, or the like or else use it within a notation program such as Finale or Sibelius.
