Yes, some col legno that wasn't IO's full strings would be nice.

I also forgot to mention that I wouldn't mind seeing the viol family added, including the viola d'amore. The Renaissance Consort in World Instruments is all very nice, but they didn't actually use fiddles in that. And possibly also a theorbo, and a decent lute. Essentially, an 'original instruments' pack. (I mean seriously, if we can have an alphorn, we ought to have a lute.)

IMO, a female soloist library! With the market already containing a large amount of orchestral libraries, female soloist libraries are quite limited. I own a lot of the good ones, but I definitely want more! :D

I would love to see a universal convolution reverb plug-in. Something that we can use for other libraries outside of Garritan/Aria. That way Garritan and other instruments are in the same space.

A really good drum/percussion set. Currently, when working in Finale and using any of the JABB drum kits, the results must be seriously tweaked in order to generate the aural impact that a real drummer has. The sounds are quite limited (brushes in particular are somewhat lacking), and if one is working with a pop or rock tune where the drums need to be dominant, it's really a tough.

My Garritan dream:
An advance strings library with:
- a real time dvz system with desk positionning, time delay between desks and real time switch on/off desks
- a real time positioning and speed bowing from tip bow to heel bow (you can change direction during long notes)
- real time bowing from tatso to ponticello.
- real time vibrato (speed vibrato and quantity)
- programmable glissandi speed
- possiblity to play open strings at will
- possibilty to choose the string on which to play the note (fingering)
- pattern editor for each separate sections (vln1, vln2, viola, celli and basses)
- all usual styles "on the fly" (arco, pizz, bartok, spicatto, harmonics, détaché, con sordino...)
- etc.

A competitor to EWQLSO but lighter in resource consuming.

In looking over what I find to be missing....how about a Pack that has a mix of drums, keyboards, electric guitars, synth sounds...pretty much anything used in the live rock concert venue.

As a second vote, I'll add to the Strings request...as long as it includes some great warm pad sounds.
