Needing to constantly log on

...I'm particularly interested in the BB Code. It would be good to have shortcuts like we are used to. I would appreciate that...

Michael, the BBCode is automatically available when writing a reply - That's what the row of controls above the text box engage. The problem we had at first here was that BBCode for our signatures was accidentally turned off, so I clicked the word "BBCode" at the right in order to refer to the available codes. That link takes you to the list--But we don't need it really, as long as BBCode remains universally on.

The major code we're missing in the buttons above is Link. You know how well it works at NS - You highlight a word, click Link and in the pop-up you paste the URL. This code currently available here isn't complete - You can only add the URL tags. If you want text or an image to link to a page, you have to edit the code by hand - and that's clumsy.

Thanks for the great feedback about the forum! Got some fixes up:

• Breadcrumb navigation is fixed.
• "Search this topic field" is no longer cut off.
• Issue by which the User is prompted to log in to view newest post when navigating from notification email is fixed.

We have more improvements on the way. Please keep the feedback and comments coming!

Things are getting better all the time, thanks for the report, Fred!

As of a bit earlier today, my constantly-logging-on problem has been fixed. With no tabs open, I can use my desktop shortcut or links in email notifications and be brought to the Forum where I'm still signed on. Great! Closing a tab after visiting was earlier signing me out, but not now.

Your first item - Breadcrumb being fixed. Well - there still isn't a workable link at the bottom of the page. There's the menu for going to individual sections of the Forum, but not to the front page. The breadcrumb that was fixed is at the top of the page, "Garritan" is now active, instead of only the "MakeMusicForums" link that backed us out too far.

What I'm accustomed to is when looking at a post, next to that Forum jump menu, there's a "Return to Forum" link which takes us back to the Forum's front page with all the topics listed.
