No Notifications Although Have Subscribed

I've selected the 'subscribe' button for this Garritan forum and my profile confirms that I am subscribed to be notified of new posts to this forum.

However, I've not received any email notifications of new posts at all. Is there anything more I need to do to be notified of any new postings to the Garritan forums?

Michael, so far I've gotten one email notification about a new reply, but that doesn't account for all the threads I've looked at. Everything is still so new here, with very little traffic yet, so I can't tell for sure whether notification is working for me as it should or not. Let's see how this goes over the next week.

I guessed it might be to do with everything being so new and potential teething problems. I thought I would still check anyway to see if anyone else was being notified.

As you say, we'll give it a while and see how it goes.

Where's that button, I don't see it? One all-encompassing "notify me about all threads I've visited" is what works best of course. Notice I'm here so fast because I was notified again.

Hummmph ..... wish I was getting the same notifications.

The 'Notify for this topic' button is near the bottom of the screen in the grey area to the right .. the small white text.

Where is that "Notify me about all threads I've visited" option. I've scoured through my profile options but can't find that?

Back online, got another notification. You know, now I'm confused - I seem to have just accidentally subscribed to the entire Forum?--or that's the default, or is supposed to be--or --SUmpin!--- But in that same area you pointed out, when you're on the very front page where you can see all these Garritan pages listed, there's a button to subscribe or unsubscribe for the entire Forum as a whole. That's what you want.

Yes, I had selected that button to subscribe to the whole forum and this is showing in my profile 'Subscriptions'.

Anyway, as a last resort I tried entering a different email address and I have now had two notifications of replies. So, some progress here.

However, I didn't have a notification for a new thread. I presume subscribing to the forum should notify me of new threads?

I've never seen it to work that way, Michael. When email notifications were still working at the Northern Sounds Forum, we were being alerted to new posts on threads we've already visited, but never about completely new threads we hadn't looked at yet or responded to.
