[MAC] Must "Authenticate" Plug-in, No option to do so

I cannot add the plug-in w/o authenticating, however, no such option exists. I tried this with both notepad and the newest version of Finale (of which I have the trial) and it gives me the same notification. This only happens with this particular application.

The readme file explains what to do in this situation - follow the manual installation instructions there, with the correct that Frank Fitzpatrick noted here a few days ago.

This might happen if you have not run Finale 2012 yet, or if you have changed where you installed Finale 2012 or its plug-ins folder from the default locations.
