Default value for <group-barline> <SOLVED>

DTD 3.0 (score.mod module) says "The group-barline element indicates if the group should have common barlines. Values can be yes, no, or Mensurstrich.".

But nothing is said about the value assumed if group-barline is not present.

What should I assume?

Hi Cecilio,

As with most MusicXML 3.0 elements, if it is missing the value is unknown. You can use a default that works best for your application. The recommendations in Behind Bars (pp. 518-519 in the English version, "Barring through a score") seem like a good starting place.
