Finale Not Displaying Notation

Postby ParkerMusic » Tue Apr 19, 2016 3:29 pm

Hello. I just downloaded the free trail version of Finale 2014.5 today to see if I like it for transposing. I've scanned two pages of sheet music and neither of them displays the notation such as accents, staccato, crescendo, diminuendo, etc. It also sometimes will turn multi measure rests into multiple measures of quarter notes.

Are there any tips for this, or many someone has made a patch to include these notations? Also, if I add these for several notes, is there a way to hot-key the notation so I can do it quickly? I tried typing in the numbers above them within the articulation tool, and nothing happened. There must be a quicker way than to constantly select and double click a note using the articulation tool, and then scroll through to find it each time I want to change the value of the note.
