IIRC the CFX gives you multiple mic placement options. Are you sure what you are hearing as reverb is not the result of specifying a more distant mic or multiple mic's?

Whatever slots I have filled in Aria remained filled with their respective instrument sounds when I solo a part.

I'm not familiar with Logic Pro, but soloing a track in Sonar does not affect the slot assignments in Aria; and I think it unlikely that other DAW's would either.

My mistake: the drum rolls are in the GPO4 package.
I generally look to other non-Garritan packages for (dance) drum sets. Wish that were not so.
