Re: Garritan Community Christmas Volume 11 (2014) Official L

I have been really, really busy so far this year, so I have had next to no time to join in on this forum. But I did want to add my name to the list of tunes, so put me down for "Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming," Michael. This one should be fun! Thanks! Gary Aubry (serenitymusician over at the...

Re: Michael Memo 6 ~ Garritan Instruments Finale Score Setup

Hey Michael! Great posting you have here. Excellent job! Now, I'm going to share something that (I hope) will make life easier for you and others when creating a new piece of music in Finale. I really disliked all the extra work MM made us do with the 2012/2014 version of Finale that you didn't have...

Re: inner outer voice movements

Sorry to hear that, Michael. Wow! I'm currently working on that demo in my version of 2012 and so far it's working the way it's suppose to whether I'm using rit or rall. Can't imagine why it would quit working for you. Check your Human Playback settings and let me know what you have and I'll compare...

Re: inner outer voice movements

SO many people use MIDI tempo controls to create a more precise change of tempo. You can do that, but that's also what human playback is for. The use of rit (which you can relabel as rall. which I do all the time) along with "a tempo" works really well. You can also edit the speed of the ...

Re: Our 10th Anniversary Christmas CD

OK, now that all of the release forms have been sent in to Carol, the next question is how soon do we see the 2013 Garritan Christmas CD? I emailed Carol and asked if she could give us a guestimate of when we can expect the release. No word back from her yet.

Re: Welcome to our new forum!

OK, so I have to ask this, Gary. The statement you made, "Our 10th Annual Community Christmas Album project is underway. There's a few days left to submit your Holiday music if you want to be included.." This has me wondering. The cut-off date has always October 31st. Some of us were under...

Re: updating aria player to v 1.111.

Wanted to jump in here regarding the "Autolegato" feature in Aria. You mentioned you have GPO4, so I'm assuming you purchased that as well as Finale. When you are loading sounds in Aria, you have the option of loading either the Notation or Standard sounds that come with GPO4. Notation is ...
