The Cuckoo and the Nightingale (Realisation)

To try to keep the momentum going here I have added a recording which, like Randy's, has been heard before. Unlike Art and Randy originals I have posted a 'realisation' (I'm not keen on the term 'mock-up') of a piece of music. I hope 'realisations' are as welcome here as original works. This is my '...

Forum Members

I see the members list is presently standing at 68 which is great. Many of the names I recognise as forum friends from Gary's previous forums. There are also plenty of new names I don't recognise although some members have changed their names (me included). I'm sure the list will go on growing and I...

Re: No Notifications Although Have Subscribed

It seems that my notifications are also working for new topics as well now.

I had notifications for the new 'Media' room topics. Looks like I'm all fully 'connected' now .. fully in the loop. :)

Re: Our 10th Anniversary Christmas CD

OK, now that all of the release forms have been sent in to Carol, the next question is how soon do we see the 2013 Garritan Christmas CD? I emailed Carol and asked if she could give us a guestimate of when we can expect the release. No word back from her yet. Gary A. Hello Gary, I'm not so sure tha...

Re: "Horseshoe Curve," Concert Band Grade 3

Hello Art, Thanks for posting this, I enjoyed listening on this dark, freezing, December morning. It is particularly interesting that you used Finale alone for this and you have done a good job. Perhaps I could add a few thoughts to what Randy wrote in regard to this. Human Playback .. hmmmm .. I th...

Re: Which GPO4 version?

..... And here's developer Max on what the "installer based" changes are that Chad referred to: "The biggest change compared to the latest public release (GPO4.02) is that this version no longer contains an ARIA Player. So, it mostly update the installation processes. We are in the p...

Re: Welcome to our new forum!

I'm getting replies MIchael and Randy. Hope you are too. I guess there will be some bugs in the beginning like yesterday: I logged in with my MM registration/support username and password. Today, they didn't like that so I used my NEW Garritan Forum username and password. They liked that......LOL J...

Re: Which GPO4 version?

..... You have GPO 4.02, right Michael? You don't remember having to pay for it do you? $50 was for the Big upgrade/update when the Garritan Libraries were moved from Kontakt to ARIA - right? Randy Yes .. I have 4.02 and I didn't have to pay for this from 4:00. As you say that $50 was the big one f...

Re: "Overview" -all Garritan production with video

Hello Randy, Thanks for posting this. I enjoyed it. ..... As it has been since 2006 when I first purchased GPO, it was a joy to use my collection of Garritan Libraries to realize this piece. The music was recorded and mixed in Sonar, and it's an all-Garritan production. It is great that, as you say,...
