Re: how do you edit a drum loop ?

I created the loop using Aria and the Garriton Jazz plugin. I loaded the jazz fusion drum kit which appears in one slot and created a drum loop in cubase from that. It seems to me that if the kit is outputted on a single channel to cubase that mixing the drum kit would have to be done in aria which...

Re: how do you edit a drum loop ?

I added a drum kit to aria and created a drum loop in cubase 7. If I mess up with one of the drums how to I go in and edit that drum? In the cubase key editor all I see is the last drum I recorded. Needless to say I am a beginner It is difficult to offer much help without knowing more about the met...

Re: woodwind sample cutout

I had the same issue and struggled with it for some months from CuBase Versions 7.5 - 8. (A thread about my saga can be found here: http://www.plogue.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=7187 ) I've had much smoother performance since reinstalling everything at its latest versions and using larger In...

Re: Disk Loss, Buffers and such...

Well, they haven't got much smaller or lighter or quicker or better in performance for a laptop than the E-MU Cardbus 02 with its breakout box, the 1616m! At least, for anywhere near the price. The s/n ratio of the mic and line inputs is up in the 90dB and the DAC is about 21 bit feeding into a 24 ...

Re: Disk Loss, Buffers and such...

Great! So pleased to learn you finally have it fixed, and that my heads up alerted you to latest engine. I've been following your long running saga. Full marks for perseverance. FYI, I don't monitor the ARIA updates web site constantly, but a reply by David to one of my queries alerted me to the im...

Re: Disk Loss, Buffers and such...

Follow Up: Makemusic replied to my service ticket in short order. I'd already tried most of the things they suggested in their initial trouble shooting reply, and also had opened a public ticket at Plogue's forum. Makemusic's initial response was quite helpful, in that I was cued in on some diagnost...

Re: Unwanted tremolo effect in GPO and IO

Thanks so much for your in-depth reply Credo. I went through all affected tracks looking for any unintended keystrokes and/or controllers but couldn't find any. I later added new instances of each and copied the older tracks to the new instances and was VERY relieved to hear them all play back fine...

Re: Unwanted tremolo effect in GPO and IO

I opened a 2 year old project recently done in Sonar and at some point I started hearing a strange "tremolo effect" (amplitude change of the signal... modulating the volume up and down in a cyclical manner) going on...not on all tracks but just on Garritan products (Garritan Personal Orch...

Re: Support

Thanks John and Credo. Maybe I am getting spoiled with the personal replies from the folks at Spitfire (the makers of most of my recent libraries). It's good to hear positive first hand account from you, Credo. The more I read about it, the more interested I am in this CFX VSTi. The ability to blen...
