Re: GPO5 - Tell Me What you Want, What You Really Really Wan

Equalized sounds across all instruments. Some are much louder/softer than others. For instance, I consistently have to turn way down, and turn, say, (crash cymbals 2) way up. Bass clarinet often overpowers everything else unless I turn it way down, too. I, too, would like instrument sounds to refle...

Re: Authorization doesn't last

Are you running the Aria player as System Admin? Is your Aria player (or some config or support file) in a protected/read-only folder? Those are two things I would check to start. Perhaps someone with more experience in this area (on the Mac) will be able to chime in soon.

Re: CPO Renaissance Organ

Don't know about the CPO, but some organ stops (on real organs) do not cover the full range of the keyboard(s). Does the documentation give you any help with this?

Re: Sneaky Sustain Pedal

I believe it is set up that way via the pedal controller. Down gives the MIDI code to turn the Pedal function off and up gives the code that turns it on. I have no idea why it is set up this way, but I seem to recall reading about it when I investigated the manual some time ago.

Re: Using Garritan un-Pitched Percussion in Finale

At least could Garritan/MM put out maps clearly named to allow us to associate the map with the package-- like jabbComplete, gpoComplete, and gwiComplete with all the MIDI numbers associated with note names? A printable chart to accompany each map would also help; searching through page aafter page ...

Re: using notation version

When this topic came up awhile ago, a Finale user said he programs his articulation expressions to engage those keyswitches. So when he inserts Pizz., for instance, that triggers the pizzicato keyswitch. I use Sonar, and of course everything is much more straight forward in a DAW program. ... I do ...

Re: GIFF and DAW

One can export an mp3 file in Finale, but only if one solely uses the MIDI sounds. Once one elects to play through the VST system, one can only export audio to WAV files. (Of course one can use a separate program to convert these to mp3

Re: Community Christmas Volume 11 (2014) ~ Unofficial List

I take it the use of the word nominate means to request to reserve a song title. Am I correct?
