Garritan sound packs normally authorize by dragging the appropriate license card (an image file obtained from Garritan) for the sound-pack you have purchased (GPO5, JABB, etc.) If you have already authorized your soundpack, I would expect Aria to function as well on Acid Pro 7 as it does when folded...

Have you tried setting it w/ a CC message in Sonar? I know in Finale the Aria Player often takes its internal settings from messages set by Finale.

(At least in Sonar Platinum) the channels are numbered 1-16; the two instances oif Aria will be listed as separate SoftSynths. These will then be available in the Out dropdown list for MIDI tracks.

Without attempting to answer your "why" question, I believe your conclusion is correct that vibrato is not adjustable on the Garritan strings.

I'm guessing I already have the 5.01 version via download. As I recall, Garritan sent out an announcement when they made the change.
