Re: start time of note in musicxml

Couldn't let be to implement this. I added a division number in front because I think you need it. There are three examples having an Music-Xml-file, the corresponding print out (pdf) and the dump from my program (Part1.txt - since the Music Xml has only one part). 1. Some notes from C... . Note the...

Re: start time of note in musicxml

No, there is no easy way. I am working on a program to play Music Xml. I could make a modofication and dump the notes to a file. Somewhere in this forum there was some list of tools to parse Music XML. Michael described possibilities. P.t. I have my own state machine. Note that divisions is not an e...

Re: NAMM 2015

What will you do at Namm? Defining Midi they forgot the clef - but have Time-signature and Key-signature. And so many years later nothing has happened. It seems not realistic with any development in Midi (when such a simple thing as the missing Clef can not be fixed). But could Music Xml be events? ...

Re: Display Sheet Music in Windows Application

I have made a program to play the Music Xml. I have made some diagrams for the state machine. My consideration is this. Music Xml is described in the DTD (Document Type Definition - this link: http://www.musicxml.com/for-developers/musicxml-dtd/). I have used the attached diagrams to make a state ma...

Re: Going from Logic Pro X to Sibelius.

I would say: A Music Xml file from Logic Pro - as short as possible, but still showing the error when imported in Sibelius. The extension should be .xml and the file look like "<?xml version="1.0" .... <!DOCTYPE .... MusicXML 2.0". Later you shall see something like "<softwa...

Re: Going from Logic Pro X to Sibelius.

Under the text field you see the text "Upload attachment". Click this and you have a button with the text "Browse". Then click on the button to the right "ADD THE FILE". I think that was what I did.
