Re: How to use Keyswitches and Reverb?

John,
Thanks for your reply. I understand how to use the Keyswitches from your explanation.
Not quite sure how to use the Midi controller in regards to Doits etc.
Also, you didn't say anything about reverb in ARIA. I tried accessing it in the ARIA window, but I'm not getting it to work.

How to use Keyswitches and Reverb?

Well, I finally completed my first JABB3 arrangement and now would like to dress it up a bit. I'm using Logic Pro X as my program. I want to go from open trumpet to cup mute and back to open trumpet. I also want to add reverb. I checked the manual and could not get a clear explanation on exactly how...

Re: CANNOT GET A GOOD DRUM SOUND IN JABB

Randy, it was nice of you to go to the trouble to find that video on YouTube. I already saw it. I found it totally boring and very complicated. I can't believe it's that complicated to get all the midi channels. Maybe this video pertains just to changing the temper of the violins. He really didn't s...

Re: CANNOT GET A GOOD DRUM SOUND IN JABB

Let me start with this first. How do I add more ARIA's or instances as you call it? Here's what happened. I have ARIA in Logic and I chose Multi Output (16xStereo) so now I have all my instruments on a midi channel. The drums are still on channel 16 (in know channel 10 is standard which I'll talk ab...

Re: CANNOT GET A GOOD DRUM SOUND IN JABB

OK guys. This was a great response from both of you and is going to take a little bit of time to absorb. I understand what you're saying. When I first started with JABB I was opening up many ARIA's in the same arrangement and I thought that was wrong, but apparently it was right. Now I see how you g...

Re: CANNOT GET A GOOD DRUM SOUND IN JABB

Randy, My drums sound nothing like your example. Yours sounds the way it's supposed to sound...great. I don't know what you mean when you say I can use as many instances as I want. I'm missing something here. I thought in order to control each drum part, or each instrument, they had to be on their o...

CANNOT GET A GOOD DRUM SOUND IN JABB

I have the drums on one midi channel/track and they don't sound good and can't get enough volume. The Tom Toms sound like they are in a hallway in another building. No clarity or presence. I'm using 5 saxes, 4 Trumpets, 4 trombones and 3 rhythm. I'm thinking of putting 2 of the saxes and 2 of the tr...
