Problem loading ARIA

When I open a particular song in Logic Pro X it loads in about 1:15. When I load another song it takes 3:23. Don't know what is wrong, but I think it's in the way of when I first got ARIA and the way I set it up. When I load the song that takes 3:23 it loads all the instruments then it starts openin...

Re: Brass Tutorial

When you say "it makes a high pitch upward", it sounds to me you're describing a "doit". The sound I'm talking about actually sounds like a "kiss" and doesn't have a pitch attached to it. The trumpet player sucks the air in from his mouthpiece to create that sound and o...

Re: Brass Tutorial

I'm using high C# and still not getting my "kiss". I'm assuming the kiss in ARIA is the same kiss a trumpet player would do namely sucking the air in from his mouthpiece. Credo you mention starting the kiss a little past the note which I'm doing. I guess I just have to keep playing with it...

Re: Brass Tutorial

Well, guys I've been messing with this for a couple of days now and it's not working for me. I was able to get drop offs, doits but no kiss. I've got lines all over the place. I'm doing something wrong and since I'm basically a novice at all this technical stuff it's getting frustrating so.........I...

Re: Brass Tutorial

OK, making some progress. I'm in the Piano Roll window and I selected Midi Draw. A little window opened asking to choose the midi channel which I did. Under that are all the controllers, but I don't see a controller that says Kiss. I want the final note of the 1st trumpet to "kiss" the las...

Re: Brass Tutorial

I'm referring to ARIA which I use through my DAW. Guys I'm sorry, I really appreciate all your responses but you really have to explain everything to step by step either doing it through my keyboard controller which has a Pitch Bend wheel and a Modulation wheel or through my DAW. I don't understand ...

Re: ARIA as an individual file?

SysExJohn, Not yet sure what to do, but it seems I'm leaning towards a new SSD. I also like the idea of a Ram Disk, but what I don't like about that is if you turn of your computer you have to reload the Ram Disk. The illustration you posted looks confusing to me although it sounds like a good idea....

Re: ARIA as an individual file?

Well guys, reading everything you posted I think the MIDI route is not for me. I'm not a novice, but I'm certainly not in your league. Your suggestion about installing an SSD hard drive I like. I've been doing research on it and I can handle that because I'm pretty handy. Reading on the Mac How To W...

Brass Tutorial

I read in the manual you can perform drop offs, kisses etc on trumpets, but didn't exactly explain how to do it. Is there a tutorial that explains how to get a kiss on the trumpets?
Thanks?
