musicXML 2 png or pdf script

Hello, I need to bulk convert a very large number of musicxml score to a graphics format. Either png, jpg (or pdf). I know I can use score editors, but I need to be able to do it through calling a script (unix). I haven't had any luck so far, but are there any scripts (bash, executables, java or oth...

Re: Inserting an image in a musicXML file?

I found out it is possible, however, not currently supported by musescore. I will file a feature request.

Anybody know if it is supported by an opensource/linux musicxml viewer?

Inserting an image in a musicXML file?

I need to display an image above a measure/note. Would it be possible to do this in musicXML? Perhaps a link to the file in lyrics or so? Or any other possible way? I'm basically trying to display a tension curve together with music.

Re: Why are the pitches not showing for this MusicXML file?

Why are the pitches not showing for this MusicXML file?

I am working on a project that will read in a musicXML file generated by musescore and then output a slightly modified one (it will be implemented as a plugin later on). To test my output/parser, I read in the file, and printed it. However, it comes up really strange in musescore and noteedit. I don...

Re: Segmentation marks in MusicXML

For instance such as in the attached screenshot.

For now I am solving it with lyrics to mark the key of each segment.

Re: start time of note in musicxml

The resulting java parser that I wrote is available here. It stores the start/end/duration times, pitch, etc of each note in a note object.

Segmentation marks in MusicXML

Hi,

I am looking for a way to put segmentation marks in a musicXML file, which can be read by software such as musescore.

Perhaps a large vertical line or a label above a note?

Any ideas on how to mark a note in a simple way?

Thanks so much.

Re: start time of note in musicxml

Also added to that. I guess the note needs to be in the same staff and voice. Right?

Sorry for the many questions. I just need my code to be as robust as possible.

Re: start time of note in musicxml

So I guess if <chord/> is included in a note, it starts at the same time as the previous note?

But what if they start at a slightly offsetted position? They are necessarily a different part then?
