Re: GPO5 - Tell Me What you Want, What You Really Really Wan

*Note. I'm not trying to sound rude or agitated. I apologize in advance if it seems that way.* Well, Gary Garritan said to share ideas, no matter how outlandish they sound. So, I'm sharing what I think. Nothing is unrealistic, unless you never try. As far as tremolos and drum rolls, it's just ideas....

Re: Midi Controllers/Trigger Pads

Okay, my situation is different, now, than what I had when I initially posted this topic. I have Sonar X3. I was wondering, when I'm able to map to my triggers and what not, does this mapping apply to all tracks, or can I use a different mapping per track? I have several percussion tracks, but each ...

Aria Player / Aria Player Multi

I've had GPO4 for months now, but never actually understood what the difference is between "Aria Player" and "Aria Player (Multi)". In my softsynth menu in Cakewalk Music Creator 5, there is listed those two. What's the difference? I've just always loaded the regular "Aria P...

Midi Controllers/Trigger Pads

Does anyone know if there is a way to assign Aria/GPO or certain piano keys to trigger pads? I'm wanting to assign percussion instruments to trigger pads, i.e. GPO Basic Orchestra Percussion (bass drum, snares, timpani, & cymbals) to dedicated trigger pads. I have an M-Audio Oxygen 41-key (2014 ...

Re: What would you like to see next Garritan product be?

I would love to see a universal convolution reverb plug-in. Something that we can use for other libraries outside of Garritan/Aria. That way Garritan and other instruments are in the same space.

Violin Midi Controller

Hopefully there is someone who can help me out with this. I am looking for an electric violin or violin midi controller that would allow me to input notes when playing it, much like using a keyboard midi controller. I understand that there is a prototype of the O-Bow violin midi controller. I was wo...

I agree. I would love a SFX library. Although, an All-Percussion library, with SFX, would be awesome. Stuff you hear in film scores; anvils, cymbal scrapes, other SFX, etc...

Re: Creating Our Own Ensembles GPO4

When making my own sections using string player instruments, for instance a 16-piece violin I section, I do not have phasing issues. However, when I set Var 1 & Var 2 knobs to different values for each instrument (I've tried really low settings and high settings and a combination of both), I get...

Assigning Keyswitches

I had recently contacted Garritan's support team about being able to reassign keyswitches. In their response, they explained that I cannot move the keyswitches down an octave on the keyboard. However, I also asked if it was possible to assign the keyswitches to, say a 25-key keyboard, and the other ...
