GPO 5 with GPO4

Hello -

It's a pleasant surprise to see GPO 5 available for purchase! My plan is to purchase it (maybe even today). Quick question, though. Does GPO 5 over-ride GPO 4 or does that Aria Player see it as a new set of virtual instruments?

Thanks to anyone to helps answer this! :)

Ted

Re: Christmas Gift for All

First, thanks for sharing "Christmas Jazz". :) Usually, I differentiate on comments towards the composer's composition verses the comments on the composer's "production" (sequencing, sound-engineer, etc.) of a piece. With regards to the "production" (sequencing or sound...

"Common Conversations" - (Orchestral Art Song)

Hi - This piece is titled, "Common Conversations". It was my first orchestral composition (ever) using GPO. I wrote this piece around early 2005 using the old "pencil to blank manuscript paper" method. Took me forever! LOL! (I'm still composing using the "pencils to blank ma...

Re: My first attempt with Sonar X2 and GPO.

It's a choir of Mitches! But ain't recording yourself over and over again fun?!? LOL! I hope you're having a blast working with GPO and recording yourself again and again! :) By the way, you have a lovely voice. I bet this arrangement would sound just as good with only one Mitch. Just a thought. Wit...

Re: The Cuckoo and the Nightingale (Realisation)

Love Bach! Sadly, never really studied his works except for a couple of "Music History Survey" courses that I took in music college. (Berklee is not known for providing serious courses on the classics, unfortunately.) But, I Love Bach! This is a lovely rendering (or "realization"...

Re: GCPO - my best friend!

Wow! Beautiful! What a fine example of great organ-writing (and choral writing) and use of the Garritan organ library. Very inspiring. Thank you for sharing! :)

Re: "Overview" -all Garritan production with video

Great music. Seemed quite "married" to the film, Randy. I like this style of composition and wish to explore it more with my own writings. (I'm just not there, yet.) Being "married" to the film, the music compliments the visual story with the way you decided to hit (and to not hi...

Re: Forum Policy and Mixing Libraries

I agree with you. I certainly respect that these are product-focused forums. It just needs to be spelled out in the website's "Terms of Service". I used to be a co-administrator for a nursing web-site (which now has over 600,000 members and growing). An important function was to work with ...
