Thanks to all for providing more information. I have been trying very hard today to reproduce this on various test machines but I am not able to do that.
It seems that everybody reporting in this thread is using Windows 10 64-bit, but what editions of Windows 10 (Home, Pro, etc.)? Are these all with English versions of Windows or is this happening with Windows versions in other languages? Are you using an administrator account or a normal account to install? Have you installed Finale to a location other than the default?
I have tried all of these variations individually with no success. There could easily be some combination of factors leading to the problem that I have overlooked.
If you are still having this problem, please contact our Customer Success team and open a support case. We might be able to get a test version out to you to see if it solves your problem. We were hoping to test it here first, but that is hard to do when we can't get the current installer to fail in the same way that several of you are seeing.
Note that Finale v25 has all the MusicXML features that used to be only in the Dolet plug-in. Finale v25's built-in MusicXML features will now give better results than the Dolet plug-in with older versions of Finale.
