Re: Attn: Adam, Fred and others in Colorado

You're absolutely correct but, I suspect, the decision has been made by management and, in my experience " management are never wrong ", " they never make mistakes " and " we, the end users, will benefit in the long run ." In actual fact, due to the appalling nature of ...

Re: Change in Forum Location

Adam thanks for letting us know. I believe that your company is making a grave mistake. The new fora clearly don't work as you'll see if you look. Nobody, including me, feel that they provide what the old forum does. Nobody, including me, contributes. Please reconsider the closing of this and the Fi...

Re: MIDI file rendering with GPO5/Standalone Aria player

Presumably by now you've discovered that you need to invoke a MIDI controller, either CC#102 or CC#64 if you're using DAW software, in order to get a smooth single instrument legato phrase?

Re: MIDI file rendering with GPO5/Standalone Aria player

Being able to produce demonstration files such as these requires a number of learned attributes and many, many hours of patient adjustment of each track, probably both in the MIDI and then the audio domain. First of all a good knowledge of how the various instruments of the orchestra are played. Yes...

Re: mod wheel needs constant reset

John: I'm still having trouble finding a GPO4, or GPO5 Manual online. Like you, I like to read my manuals in bed before sleep. My Sonar and Finale manuals are almost worn out. If you know how, could you guide me to a place that I might find such a manual? My wife bought me a tablet so that I'll sto...

Don't forget too that CC#1 is also CC#2 and CC#11 for most instruments. It's in the manual.
